SHOPPING BASICS

We ship to countries within The EU with PostNL, although another (local) carrier might provide shipment to your mailbox. Dirtbags are packaged to fit your mailbox, so no need to stay home for the arrival. For shipment to countries within Europe, but outside the EU, a higher international tariff is applicable. Upon selection of your country, the rate will automatically change to the going shipment rate for your address. For the moment, we don’t provide standard shipping outside Europe. If you need your Dirtbag to be shipped outside Europe, please contact us.

Your Dirtbag will arrive within 3 workdays for The Netherlands and 5-7 workdays for the rest of Europe. You will receive a track and trace code after the order has been shipped. If you need your Dirtbag to arrive sooner, please let us know by adding a remark with your order.

 

Dirtbags are shipped to all countries within Europe, although a higher rate is applicable for countries outside the EU. If you need your Dirtbag to be shipped outside Europe, please contact us.

PAYMENTS

We accept iDeal for the Netherlands and the most common creditcards internationally. For now we don’t accept payment from other payment providers.

A value added tax (VAT) of 21% is included in the price of your purchase, for private individuals and if you are a company within the Netherlands. If your purchase is made for are a company within Europe, the VAT is not charged.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Dirtbags has a zero waste policy. If you are not – or no longer – satisfied with your Dirtbag, you can always sent back your Dirtbag, using the special envelope you received it in. Within the Netherlands, you’ll receive a full refund of your purchase including your shipment costs for sending it back to us within 14 days after your Dirtbag has arrived. Within Europe, you’ll receive a full refund of your purchase including half your shipment costs for sending it back to us within 14 days after your Dirtbag has arrived.

You will be refunded within fourteen days after your return has arrived.

If you want to change or cancel your order, please contact us, before your order is shipped. Once your order has been shipped, we can’t change or cancel your order anymore. Please return your Dirtbag in it’s original package.

If you have any questions, or need assistance, please contact us. If you sent us a message, we will typically respond within the hour during business hours. Our business hours are from 8:00 to 18:00 (GMT +1) on weekdays.

ABOUT DIRTBAGS

We are Dirtbags. We have made it our mission to make products from discarded materials which are as durable as they are beautiful. And to offer employment to men and women who are at a disadvantage on the labor market.

You should buy a Dirtbag because:

  • You want to reduce waste by using an upcycled product
  • You want to reduce waste by using an extremely durable product
  • You want to reduce waste knowing that you can return your Dirtbag without costs for shipping, even after years of use
  • You want to provide opportunity to people with a disadvantage on the labor market

  • To carry up to 133 hammers or 124,057 nails
  • As a container for popcorn, for you and several family members, during a movie marathon
